Audiobyte Super Hub

Audiobyte Super Hub is a native I2S multifunctional streamer.
Crafted from a single block of premium aluminium, featuring a 3-inch IPS wide-angle display, a linear power supply, dedicated FPGA audio hardware, high-quality programmable clock, and powered by a custom lightweight Linux system to ensure an unwavering sonic performance. Seamlessly supports Roon, UpnP, DLNA, OpenHome and comes with dedicated iOS and Android control apps.

The Audiobyte Super Hub stands as a meticulously designed digital hub, seamlessly uniting your various digital sources into one unit. Advanced digital signal conditioning, including reclocking and upsampling (transcoding), takes place in the digital domain before transmitting the refined data streams to an external DAC.

Many enthusiasts employ them to upsample classic PCM encoding into high-rate DSD. SuperHUB’s ultra-efficient, FPGA-based audio engine executes powerful upsampling, rendering the need for a cumbersome computer in your setup obsolete.

A phase-locked loop (PLL) is an electronic circuit with a voltage or voltage-driven oscillator that constantly adjusts to match the frequency of an input signal. PLLs are used to generate, stabilize, modulate, demodulate, filter or recover a signal from a “noisy” communications channel where data has been interrupted.

Control: Effortless navigation through the IPS capacitive touchscreen, complemented by user-friendly Android and iOS control apps.

In contrast to competitors, who predominantly rely on streaming products built around Rpi or off-the-shelf hardware modules, SuperHUB is constructed from the ground up on an exclusive Audiobyte hardware platform. To achieve the best possible results, we designed and built a new mainboard from scratch with a 10-layer custom PCB that allowed our engineers to optimize the signal path. Together with a linear power supply, this guarantees a seamless synergy between audio and CPU hardware, culminating in an exceptional audio experience.
