Oyaide P-079e: these plugs and connectors are not merely high grade; every step is taken to realize the `State of the Art` for audio application. The reference grade of P/C series with 24K gold plated phosphor bronze contacts. The plating of the P-079/C-079 is 24k Gold.

Generally, 18k gold plating applied for industrial use is actually “gold alloy” due to enhancing its corrosion resistance property and durability. However, since we regard its sound quality as the most important priority factor, pure gold plating without nickel, cobalt and bismuth is selected for the plating of P-079e/C-079. The screws of P/C series are all made of highly rigid stainless so its screw head doesn’t collapse even if you give them too much strength. In addition, because it is non-magnetic material, it helps to achieve high S/N ratio without being magnetized at its connection part.

The outer cover of P/C series is made of PC (Polycarbonate) for its rigidity and hardness. It helps to attenuate tiny vibrations in quick response and reduce distortions by its superior mechanical strength.

All Oyaide Electric’s P/C series AC plugs and IEC connector are all labeled with a “hologram sticker” with a serial number for management purposes. The product is shipped in its original can case, which protects it from shocks during transportation.

It has been confirmed that counterfeit products that look very similar to the “P/C series AC plug and IEC connector are currently circulating.
